Applying SP1 - first thoughts

There is a scary amount of documentation all of it detailed in
Christophe Fiessingers blog http://blogs.msdn.com/chrisfie/default.aspx

The actual upgrade process is not difficult though when you look at
the sharepoint logs (at least) with my test environment there is an
alarming number of critical, and failed events, but the upgrade
completed and the system is working.

I have a question for the MSFT guys - Having upgraded my system to SP1
what do I have to do when I want to create another project server
instance connecting to pre-SP1 databases. Will the create process
upgrade these databases.

thanks

Yes. I heard from Microsoft this morning regarding this scenario. When
allocating a PWA site with pre-SP1 databases for a SP1 Project Server,
the databases will be updated to SP1.
