Applying templates

Hi,
I've done a template.
This template includes some graph charts. I've modified the color palette of this graphs to create a sequence of colors to work with the graph.
When I apply this template to a presentation I loss all of the sequence of colors.
Does anyone knows why?

Yes.

Graphs pick up their first four (five?) colors based on the color scheme of the slide. There's some info on what colors it's getting from where at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...aph+color+group%3Amicrosoft.public.powerpoint

Even if you change the colors in a graph, they don't "stick" when you create a new slide and a new graph. It's a known issue, although it's really "by design" -- it's the way PPT's supposed to work.

Designating a graph as the default graph type won't work, really, either, as that's a machine-specific, not template-specific, setting.

Your best bet is to create the sample graph with the appropriate colors and teach your users to copy that and change the data for their graphs. Wish there were a better way.
