Appoinment

Previously, when putting a range in an appointment e.g. 4 October - 8 October
and clicking 'All day' I used to get a white bar across the relevant dates
in the monthly view. This seems to have disappeared and I get a single day
appointment at midnight.

Any ideas how I can get back to the more useful way it was before?
