Appointment defaults to Monday on "5 Work Week" view

When I set my calendar view "5: Work Week" and create an appointment, the
default date is always the Monday of that week. I am sure this is a bug,
because this doesn't happen when I am in the "7: Week" or "Month" view.

Any suggestions?
