Appointment sent to more than one person [Outlook 2003 and 2007]

I have a user that whenever an appointment is sent to them, it is also sent
to three other people. I have deleted his profile and recreated it and
rebooted the Exchange server.
This user setup a rule before he went on vaction to have his mail sent to
those people, but now even after the rule has been deleted it still happens.

Any idea on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
