Appointments - Not Appearing on Calendar as Tenative When Received

Steven C

I have an issue that when I recieve an appointment/meeting request they do
not show up on my calendar as tentative. I have to actually read the message
for it to show up on the calendar as tentative. Any thoughts on why this is
happening? This happens to me when I'm logged into other comptuers that I
have outlook setup on. I'm connected to my work's 2003 exchange server.

For testing purposes, I set my outlook account up on another computer and my
meeting requests acted the same way as they do on the PC I usually use. I do
not usually have multiple outlooks opening one mailbox.

so you have multiple outlooks opening one mailbox? Try opening outlook with
the /cleansniff switch.
See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/commandlines.htm for help with
switches.

Try the cleansniff switch anyway.

Are you sure its Exchange 2003? It is possible in ex2007 to not add
tentative appointments.
