Appropriate printer for tiny bottom margin

I

Ian

Hi - I have a word mailmerge doc picking up data from a unix host and
printing to custom size card (130mm x 206mm) in landscape. Print content
(inventory card) is simply graphic lines & text - all black.
I need the bottom margin to be 2mm max as the cards sit in display folders
with a tiny viewing area at base.
Hoping that someone here has come across a printer (probably inkjet?) that
can achieve this. I've spoken to Canon & Epson here in Australia without
much luck.
I don't think borderless printing is the answer - or at least I haven't
managed to make the document print as required doing that.
Anyone done anything similar or have a theory answer or experience of a
specialist printer that'll do it?
Thanks in anticipation, Ian.

On a laser printer you *might* be able to trick the printer into printing
closer to the edge by defining the paper size as larger than it actually is.
