Approving Sharing Resources Across Teams

Hi again,

Our organisation has a few teams of people. Each team consists of a few
resources and a project manager. We want to have the following ability
through EPM.

If a project manager from an outside team wants to use another team's
resources past a specific %, the approval has to go through that teams
PM. i.e. If PM from Team A assigns a resource from Team B to their
project and it is less than 20% of their time it is automatically done.
Once it goes over that % threshold, the approval has to go through the
PM of team B before the task is sent to the resource. Is this
possible???

If not, is it possible to have it so anyone who assigns members of Team
B to a task need it to be approved by the PM of B before it shows up in
the resources Tasks?

For our size I truly believe it's easier to just have a meeting with
the PMs to let them know they want to use the others Resources before
they commit them, but the lord of above wants me to see if we can do it
this way.

I would really appreciate any information people can provide.
Yes/No's, actually how to set it up using the RBS etc.

Matt --

The answer is no to all your questions, as Project Server simply does not
have the capabilities you seek. Therefore, you must make this a training
and performance issue with your PM's. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale... thats the answer i thought i would get. Now at least i
have some backup to push it towards the training / meeting way.
