Apps take a very long time to open

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

Hi
It seems the the new office takes forever to open. Is there a secret to speed it up. Also PowerPoint crashes all the time....please advise

Before any suggestions can be made you need to specify your exact current
update levels of both Office & OS X. Some idea of your Mac's specs would
also be useful.

It seems the the new office takes forever to open.

Under "About Entourage" or any Office 2008 application, you will find the
version info. What version do you have installed? Under the Apple in the
Menu bar "About this Mac" will tell you the version of the OS you have
installed.
