I just purchased a PowerBook G4. With any of the Office for Mac
products, will I be able to type a word document in Arabic (I am able
to do so with Office for Windows)? If so, how?

Well Office 2004 supports Unicode (youneed it to use the proper fonts)
but not right to left writing :-\ The only option I see would be to use
one of the other apps that can do that (eg: Mellel).

Hi

You may want to take a look at this product. http://www.redlers.com/ I saw
something in a different newsgroup about some problem with Arabic in Word.
This product apparently works and it only costs $39, much cheaper than a new
computer.
