I reached 2gb on my Outlook 2000 recently. I used the truncate tool to bring
the file size down and subsequently deleted a lot of files, then compacted to
reach an acceptable level for the short term. However, I have been trying to
archive files to further reduce the size of the pst. The archive process
never completes stating there are errors in parameter values. I've tried
several times to no avail. When I run scanpst.exe, the files (outlook.pst and
archive.pst) are error free. I also tried to creat a new archive file but
that didn't complete either. What can I do?
