Archive won't work

I can't get my archive feature to work in my Outlook in
Office XP. I have checked all the settings and even
tried archiving a single file. It appears to start
archiving but nothing actually happens. I can't find
anything on the Microsoft help pages about this. Has
anyone else run into this?

Auto archive works on the item modified date....perhaps that's your problem
here?
