archived calendar items?

Is there a way to retrieve the last 12 months of archived calendar items? I
don't care about recurring items, just ones that I've entered myself.

What do you mean "retrieve"? They are in the calendar folder, you can
set a table view and look at them sequentially if you want.

Open the archive and look in the calendar. If the archive is not open in
outlook, open it using file, open, outlook data file then use Folder list
(Ctrl+6) to look for the calendar folder in the archive.
