Archiving and reinstating

I recently backed up my inbox to a cd and deleted the messages in my active
inbox. When I try to reinstate, Outlook opens to my current inbox. I cannot
access archived messages. I am using Outlook 6.0. Please help and Thank you

Outlook and Outlook Express aren't the same thing.

1) Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
