archiving mail

when one of our users archives his mail an error message
appears saying sying that some mail may have been moved or
deleted and then the archive process stops.... can any one
help!!!!

Of this isn't Exchange you might be able to create a new profile and then
import all your old email into it. The problem is that it will change the
modified date of items and reset archiving. If using Exchange you might just
be able to create anew profile.
Try archiving completely offline in case a rule is interfering with the
archiving.
