Archiving projects in 2007

Hi -
We have ~ 500 projects in our PS2007. We make heavy use of feature level
projects that insert into Master projets.
Several of these are now complete and the leads are complaining about how
long the list of projects and project workspaces ther are.

I would like to move them into an archive state so that they don't appear
when you try to open projects from MPP - but I can still capture data in
cubes for reporting - but haven't found a good way yet.

We need to keep workspace data available as well - as some of the documents
are needed for reference for other projects or by our TAC when they are
looking for functional specs, etc.

I see the archive capability - but it seems once you archive - you can no
longer include the data in the cube builds.

If I put the archive projects into a separate instance of PWA -- is there a
way for me to merge cube data to get a report for looking at work by
person/project?

Just a note -
We've ready the methodology post / link - but we need to have Project Leads
(Team Leads) to be able to view / run reports - not just the Admin or Exec
groups

Paul -

I did follow the instructions - but the project center views aren't working
correctly.

When I filter on Production Status 'does not equal' completed - I get
nothing in my view.

When I filter on Produciton Status ' equals' completed - the project I
changed does appear.

Suggestions on what I can try or where I may have gone wrong.
