Archiving

I get the following message when I try to archive.
outlook 2000 error while archiving folder "inbox" in
store "archive folders". the source and destination
folders for this operation can not be the same.
The only information I can find refers to a Norton anti
virus program. I am not running norton. It did archive
find in the past. I think some how I made my inbox part of
the archive .pst but I have no idea how to fix it.

While the Archive Folders file is open in Outlook's Folder List, right-click
the Inbox in that set of folders and then click Properties, then the
AutoArchive tab. Is it set to AutoArchive? If so, disable the AutoArchive
for that folder only. (If you wish to archive your Inbox in your default
set of folders, you should leave AA enabled there.)
