Are any MVPs reading?

I posted a couple of questions concerning Outlook mail on 9/06, and as of
now (9/18) I see no responses to them.

Did those posts come through?

Are the mail aspects of Outlook not in the expertise of the MVPs here? (I
don't see a separate NG for the mail feature of Outlook.)

Can anyone help with those questions? Thank you.

Unanswered posts can mean many things. Rarely would it mean the post was not
read. Most often it means the question you've asked does not contain enough
detail to permit an answer, does not apply to Outlook, or is not a known
issue that can be reproduced or that has a known solution.

Of your two posts on 9/6, one applies to Word, not Outlook, and the other
cannot be reproduced. When switching views in Outlook 2003, mine always
returns to the folder last selected in that view, and so has everyone else's
as far as I know.

It applies to Outlook Mail, using Word as the e-mail editor. It has never
occurred with me while directly in Word. Therefore I cross-posted to the
Word Mail NG, but it certainly also applies to Outlook.

Are you saying that I am not included in "everyone else"? You obviously saw
my post in which I related a problem I had, so how could you say that this
problem never occurred with you nor "anyone else"?

Do you mean when you click the "Mail" icon, it always goes to "Inbox", or
the last mail folder you viewed, not to "Personal Folders"? Then why is this
happening to me? Even if your system doesn't do that, perhaps you could help
figure out what is going on.

Thank you.

You should have included the original problem so we don't have to search
google for the original post.

It doesn't work like that for me either... the last folder I view is
displayed when I hit the mail icon while in another folder, but I also don't
have Outlook starting in Outlook Today. Did you select the inbox or any
other mail folder before switching folders?

You mention Inbox and Personal folders- how many sets of folders are in your
profile and what type of email accounts do you use?

Think about what you're asking. If it's never happened to me and if I've
never seen anyone else post the same problem, how can I help?
I'll tell you.
By not posting an answer.
That way, if someone else happens to have seen this problem, then they can
answer you.
