Are debug symbols available for Office app?

Hi,

debug symbols for Office modules like mso.dll would make Addin development
so much easier. Any chance to get them?

Although debug symbols for Windows can be accessed at Microsoft Symbol
Server (http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols), unfortunately, no
Office debug symbol is available so far, due to some security issues.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns, or need anything else.

So there is no way to get the symbols? Any plans on publishing them?

PS: thanks for your help regarding the disabled image buttons in Office
2000 - it works now!

As you asked for my email address I was hoping that there would be a way to
get debug symbols for Office. My company is Microsoft Gold Partner - is
there maybe a way for Gold partners to get hands on the debug symbols?

development team members on this matter, and they responded that it might
be taken into consideration in future. But currently, due to some security
issues, they cannot publish the debug symbols of Office system. Anyhow,
