Are pub. files compatible?

I have a disc with a file created by publisheron another computer. When I
tried to open the file on my computer, it told me it couldn't open a
different version of publisher. How can I fix this?

Is it the same version? Copy the files to your hard drive, they are read only now,
you will have to change that.

If you have Norton disable "script blocking" and in Norton options, misc. disable
Office Plug-in.
