Are there instructions on how Outlook 2003 Rules work and behave?

I am looking for how Outlook 2003 rules behave when I place a word or phase
in the subject of body line. For example, if I create a rule that forwards
incoming mail to a folder that looks for the word "Test" in the subject line,
will Outlook 2003 search for the word in the beginning of the subject, the
entire subject, or in a relative location. Also, will Outlook 2003 find the
word if the subject is " I Tested the software" ?

In addition, can I use wild cards in phrases like in the body find "
Hi?There" meaning that "Hi" and "There" must be in the body however there can
be other characters between the words.

I would just like to read about the behavior of the Outlook 2003 search
engine when I place data in the subject and body lines.

Thank you for pointing in the the right direction. These web pages are enough
to get started with. I must say though I looked all through Microsoft and was
unable to find a basic instruction with examples of "Tricks with Rules"
Working examples of how to use the feature to it fullest.
