Are wildcards valid in safe senders list entries (*.xyz.com)? Experience
shows that they aren't, but at least one MS Press book says they are.
Outlook 2003 Help is vague on this topic.

Outlook has no wildcards, so your above example won't work. However, you
can create a rule that examines the headers and, if "xyz.com" is found,
moves the message to the Junk E-mail folder. Of course, this will also move
messages where the header contains "abcxyz.com" as well, but, for me at
least, that occurrence is rare.

Over a decade later we've come across Office 2007 v12, 2010 v14, 2013 v15, into Office 2016, and this same issue is ongoing and frustrating me. Deep shame on M$ for this.
