Areas and perimeters of shapes

Hi,

I want to draw a figure and find out what is the area and perimeter of
it.
How can I accomplish this ?

Hello J,

There's a 'Shape area and perimeter...' addon under Tools / Add-Ons / Visio
Extras. I can't remember if it's available in the Standard version but it's
certainly there in Visio 2007 Professional. If you want to calculate it
manually then it will depend on the shape of shape that you've drawn. How
many sides does your shape have?
