Arial & Times New Roman fonts display incorrectly in PPT 2007

All of my existing and new (created in PPT 2007) presentations have problems
displaying TNR and Arial fonts correctly. The fonts appear above the text box
instead of within it. This problem is happening on every installation in our
office (approx 100 users).

Other fonts appear to display correctly.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
