array formula in Name Definition.

Is it possible to define a name via a array formula?

How could use the CSE method in this contest?

Hi Alex,

just define the name with a refersto that looks like an array formulae:
Fred=Sheet1!$A$1:$A$3+Sheet1!$B$1:$B$3

then either enter =fred as a multicell array formula using CSE or enter
=Sum(fred) as a single cell formula etc.
