I had a problem the other day with an IFstatement that was not generating the expected results. I had added response.write statements, tested for variable types, and everything seemed to be correct, but based on values that I knew were in the database, I was not getting the correct results.
A few of the regulars here had sent me some suggestions, but nothing seemed to fix the problem. The logic should have made the following statement true in some cases, but appeared to be making it true all of the time.

Finally today after screwing around with this thing for days, figured out what was causuing the results to be incorrect. As I mentioned, I had an IF statement which was nested inside other logic. After getting to the end of the loop, I wasn't resetting the variable. Once I added:
Post_Comment = ""
at the beginning of the loop, the problem was solved!
All this screwing around, I'd like to kick myself!
Well thanks anyway for the suggestions!
