Assign a word to function key

I believe there is a way to assign a word that is used repeatedly, to a
specific function key....or some other keyboard shortcut. Help anyone?

AutoText is the usual way to do this. But if you want, you can record a
macro while you type the word, and assign that macro to a function key or
any other keyboard shortcut you like.

I would use autocorrect - to change a short code for the word(s).
OR
Create an autotext entry and assign a keyboard shortcut of your choice to it
with tools > customize.

Make an autotext entry for you word or statement. Type it, select it, Press
ALT+F3 and name it. You can then use AutoComplete tip or if you want you
can save the AutoText entry to a menu or keyboard shortcut. See below and
substitue macro for autotext.

If it's really just one word, an AutoCorrect abbreviation is probably the
easiest and most efficient way.
