Assign AD Group as Outlook Delegate Issue

We have several conference rooms in our organization and we use AD user
accounts to schedule these resources. Up till about two weeks ago, everyone
could review the calendars of these conference rooms. There are two mail
enabled domain groups assigned as delegates to the conference rooms. Neither
one of these groups had any security rights or mailbox rights manually
applied in ADUC. The only delegation rights they have set are reviewer of the
calendar. For the past two weeks the users of these domain groups can no
longer view the calendar by opening File > Open > Other User’s Folder > and
entering the account name for the calendar. All of the conference rooms with
these groups assigned no longer work like before. The user who accesses the
calendar no receive the return, “Unable to display the folder†in an
otherwise blank Outlook view screen or a dialog popup that states, “Unable to
display the folder. The Calendar folder could not be found.â€

I have delegated calendar review for a new single test user account and this
user can view the calendar without any issues. I have created a new group in
AD and added the same test user account to this group and have given this
group reviewer delegated permissions, but it still can’t view the calendar. I
have delegated my own calendar to the test user and the test user can view my
calendar. I have added the test group to my Outlook delegates, but have the
same issue as assigning other groups. Has something changed recently where a
group can’t be given delegated rights to a calendar anymore?
