Assign macro to auto shape

I've created many macros in excel assigned to an auto shape that operates
like a button - you click on the button & the macro runs. It's so easy to do
in Excel - but I can't figure out how to do this in word.

Use the shape as the prompt for a macrobutton field

Type CTRL+F9 to enter the field brackets

{}
Between them Type
Macrobutton Macroname where Macroname is the maco you want to run
Thus
{ Macrobutton Macroname}
Insert your shape e.g. a piece of wordart, into the document. Set its layout
option to In Line with Text, then drag it into the space after the macroname
but before the bracket thus
{ Macrobutton Macroname Insert your shape here }
