Assign resources to Multiple roles?

Hi,

I wanna assign resource to multiple roles for multiple projects.

QUESTION:
How do I set this up?. Do I have to use RBS or Custom Outline Codes?. What
should I use and when?
What is the best practice?

You have asked a VERY big question that has MANY possible answers. If you
can give some specific examples of what you want to achieve, then maybe we
can give you some useful guidance.

Until then, all I can suggest is that you learn all you can about Groups,
Categories, and the RBS. And the only general Best Practice I can cite is
that it is not a good idea to asign permissions directly to resources, but
rather to grant permissions through Groups.

One thing that strikes me about your posts is that you're not specifying
your reassoning behind wanting to do this. Others are assuming that you want
this for the sake of permissions, but I don't see you specifying that.
What's the outcome you want? Is this a security problem or a reporting
challenge?
