Regarding the "Cannot assign specific printer to report" bug in Access
2007 (reports reset to default printer after close and reopen) it
appears they have not fixed it in SP1.
Losing printer settings is a show stopper for my application, whch is
distributed to end-users as runtime. There are many reports going to
several different printers - each to a specific printer tray with
specific designations for paper size, 1- or 2-sided, etc.
Although it might be possible to programmatically set a specific
printer for each report, I'd sure prefer to wait for a fix from
Microsoft.
Anyone have any thoughts on where this bug might be on Microsoft''s
"to do" list?
