Assign Task to Outlook & Entourage User

We run MACs and PCs using Outlook and Entourage. Tasks/Assign Tasks work
between PC users but not Entourage users. Is this function not abailable in
Entourage, or, could it be a preference turned off, or, an add-on, or, ...?
