Assigning a calculated field to field table.

I have a Item Inventory and a Transaction Inventory table. I did design a form for the Items and a subform for the Transactions. On the subform I create a calculated field for the Quantity on Hand and now I want to put that value back on the Item Inventory table.

How I can do that?
