Assigning a country region to a country code

Hi,

I am trying to write a formula that when a user enters a 3 digit
country code in cell a1 for example it then places the country region
in cell b1.

There are 7 country regions i.e. europe, africa, north america etc,
with the most having 25 3 digit codes contained within it.

I'm guessing I need a table such as below that has the 3 digit codes
contained within it and then a formula in cell b1 which enters the
column header of the relevent code.

SOUTH AMERICA NORTH AMERICA EUROPE
ASU AAU ALA
BOG RDU BUD
BUE USA BUH
CCS YYZ CPH

Please advise how I can do this.
