Yes, but it would help if you gave more details about what you are
trying to achieve.
Normally this feature would be used if you had a pool of resources of
the same skill type (programmers, welders, authors etc).
If your pool was 5 strong, you would just create an entry on the
resource sheet for the skill type and set their maximum units to 500% to
show that there were 5 of them.
They you can assign them to any task at any proportion of their
availability.
