Assigning a Resource to work part time

I changed a resource to work part time;however, the max units on the resource
sheet does not reflect this. Why is this?

If not on the resource sheet where else did you "change the resource to work
part time"?

I double clicked on the resource and then on the general tab I changed it
down at the bottom under resource availability.
