Assigning fixed resource cost to task

It's possible to assign a fixed resource cost to a task by assigning the
resource to the task, then setting the units to 0 on the task form, and
entering the appropriate value into the cost field.
It works fine, but the cost entered this way is not included in the OLAP
queries in the Analyzer views.

Is it normal?

Peter:

You can assign the cost directly to the task, so you don't need a resource
to add cost to the task. You can also assign a per-use cost to the resource
which I think will get you what you want.
