Assigning keystrokes in Mac Excel?

I use lots of keystrokes when I work with financial modeling in microsoft excel at work. When I bought my Mac I was surprised to learn that the key strokes (for instance for formatting row height "alt+o+e" ) are different or don't seem to exist. Is there a way to assign keystrokes in Mac exel? If not are there plug-ins or downloads I can use to make this possible?

Many thanks!

Yeah, I was rather upset when XL got ported from Mac to DOS (and then to
Windows) and they screwed up all the existing keyboard shortcuts...

Unlike WinXL, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to nearly any command
via Tools/Customize Keyboard.

THere are also rather a lot of built-in keyboard shortcuts which you can
find by checking Excel Help for "Excel Keyboard Shortcuts"
