Assigning permissions

My Project Managers are not seeing the resources available in the Project
Server. We are using MS Project 2007.
Things they are doing: Tools - Assign Resources - Add Resources - from
Project Server and all the Project Managers are not able to see the list of
Enterprise resources.
Do they need to be in specific group other than admin, to be able to pick
these enterprise resources and use these for their projects?

The correct way to build the project team is using Tools - Build Team from
Enterprise. If your PMs do this, can they see the enterprise resources in
this dialog? If not, you need to make sure you have added all of your
project managers to the Project Managers group in PWA. You do not need to
do anything else, including manually setting Categories or permissions of
any kind, since all of the necessary permissions are granted through the
Project Managers group. Also, if this does not work, by chance have you
modified the default Categories and permissions specified in the Project
Managers group? If so, all bets are off and you will need to tell us what
you have changed specifically. Let us know if this helps.
