Assigning PWA CALS

I have installed Project Server 2007 integrated with WSS, and created 10
users, 5 of which have Project Pro installed, 5 without.. The 5 with Pro
installed can connect and perform all functions (within assigned rights). The
5 without Pro installed are getting and 'access error - request permission...'

My question is":

How do i 'assign' or 'install' a PWA CAL to a user that does not have
Project Professional 2007 installed? (I have 50 purchased)

You don't have to assign CALS to access PWA. They just need to be purchased
to keep you in compliance. Not having a CAL does not materially affect your
ability to connect to PWA.

They're most likely having a security issue. Check the security settings.

Hi,

there is no method of assigning a CAL. All you need to do is create the
users in Project Server. If you go to Server Settings > Manage Users, you
will be able to create a user. This will give access to Project Server.
Hope this helps

thank you very much, it seems to be that the security templates were not
apllied to the user
