Assigning resource

I have a 20 day task called shutter, steel and concrete on a programme. I am
assigning labour resource across the whole activity, however every 4th day i
will be concreting, therefore i want to assign a concrete pump every 4th day
on this single activity. I do not want to create 5 seperate concreting
tasks. Is this possible on Microsoft Project?

Assign "Concrete Pump" to the task. Then View/Task Usage on the menu. You
can adjust the assignment units from the right side of the task Usage view.

Good scheduling practices would break this task down into smaller pieces
with many subtasks.
