Assigning risks

How do you in Project Server 2007, if it is possible, assign risks to someone
not in the Active Directory. A customer for example. What configuration
changes are required.

Thanks

Hi FrankC,

you have the forms authentication option. The problem with forms
authentication is that you will have to "custom develop" an administration
part around forms authentication, which you wont need to do using AD.

Either way, your resource will need to have some kind of authentication
whereby the system can recognise the "external" resource.

Hope this helps

Thanks for both responses. My problem is a little more taxing in that in our
configuration customers are not in the users group and 2007 doesn't allow us
to enter an Owner or Assigned To that is not in the users group. And, of
course, we are trying to maintain the User Group using AD synch which has
some challenges of its own. So my problem really seems to be that I want to
assign a risk or issue to someone that does not have any access to Project
Server; i.e., clients outside the firewall.
