Assigning taks to multiple resources

Is there a preferred method to assign tasks to multiple resources? I have
tried creating a group in Exchange. It will not assign the task to the
individuals in the group. So I tried using the resource dropdown for the
first contact then typing in the second. It will not email or assign the
second person.

Greg:

There are several proper methods for doing this:

1) Use the Assign Resources dialog
2) Use the split screen view in the Gant Chart

If you're using Project Server, you really should get the basics of Project
down first, or you Project Server experience will be much more stressful
than it needs to be.
