I manage a server farm that is available to run computing jobs. I'm trying
to create a project schedule that lists the computing jobs as tasks and then
assign computers to those tasks. When I enter in the computers as
"resources" (like I would a person) I can't see enough detail on the
resources that are obligated. I.E. Let's say I want to use a 4 processor
box for a task - it's committed already - but I'd like to see when it's
coming free before I readjust the job to run on 4 one processor boxes. The
"available resources" that show in the assign resources dialogue box simply
lists the resources that are not yet committed - I really don't have any view
into what's in my pool and when something is comming available.
Any ideas?
