Assignments in tasks view don't match assignments in project

I've update/saved/published several changes that I have
made to the project (I'm using Microsoft project
professional 2002 with Project Server 2002) and when I
view the task assignments in the project view everything
looks correct. But when we look at task assignments in
the Tasks view, we're seeing erroneous information. Does
anyone know why this happens and what I need to do to
correct it?

Let me know if I need to provide any additional
information.
