Associate a sharepoint site to a project

Hernandezz

Hi..

I transferred a server's sharepoint 2007site into a server I'm using
currently. I would like to know how or if it's possible to associate a
site to a project. The reason behind this, is that I have a Project
without workspace and would like that this workspace could be a
specific site. How can I do this?

many thanks in advance,
cheers

To associate a sharepoint site with a project you need to do the following:

Assuming you can access Server Settings in PWA under the "operational
policies section" select "Project Workspaces". You should be presented with
a list of Projects with their associated SharePoint site addresses. Select
the project you want to associate with the SharePoint site, click the Edit
Site Address button and enter the URL for the existing SharePoint site -
this presents you with the "Edit Workspace" window where you should be able
to make the changes you wish to make.

I hope this helps.
