Tom, thanks for the link. I was able to get the favicon to work like
promised on my top domain simply by copying a 16x16 icon into the root
directory and naming it favicon.ico. Other instructions told how to have an
icon for individual web pages or sub webs. I carefully copied the code into
some other pages and removed the favicon from my root web. I could not get
the icons to work for individual web pages or sub webs. Oh well. I went back
to the top domain method and that works fine but I'm stuck with the same
icon for all subwebs.
