asterisk in view instead of number for privacy

I am trying to create a column where a pin number can be entered by not seen.
Was hoping to have asterisk show but can't figure it out.

Check Access HELP on the topic of "input mask" ... I believe one of them can
be used to do what you mention.

If the pin number is in a text field, you can use the input mask wizard's
password option to display it as **** when typing it in. However that won't
prevent someone else from seeing it in a table, query, form, or report once
entered unless you enable User Level Security and tighten permissions down.
