Attach File(s)

Hi - I'm new to InfoPath 2007. How do I insert a single "File Attachment"
control and make it work? Whenever I try to add the field in order to
publish the form, I get the message: The selected field cannot be promoted
because its datatype is not supported: base64binary. If I put the field in a
repeating section and add the group instead of the field, it gets accepted
and the form publishes fine (the file upload works as well). Thanks in
advance.

Hi,
I think you are promoting attachment field.
For which purpose you are promoting that field?
Delete that field from the promoted list (if it is not needed) and publish.

HI,

File Attachment field is save the data as the encode format. So we can not
able to promote this field to Sharepoint. If you want to Promote the file
name of the attached file, just save file name in one field and promote the
field to sharepoint.
