When I drag some photo into Entourage from Drag Thing, Entourage ask if I want to attach an alais or the original. Stupid question no? If you attach an alais, the person wont get the jpeg. How can I eliminate this annoying question? thanks.

If there is no checkbox that says "Do not ask me again", then there's no way
to disable this message. It might be related to the way in which Drag Thing
passes on information to other applications, and the way Entourage
interprets this information. Have you noticed a similar behaviour when
dragging photos from another application into Entourage?

It says, "do you want to attach the original file or it's alias?"

There is no checkbox to not ask me again.

I contacte drag thing and he says it has nothing to do with drag thing.

I just a test with an image that is aliased on the desktop where the image is in an external hardrive. Got same message.

That actually makes perfect sense. Why would anyone drag an alias of a
file to Entourage? 99% of folks wouldn't want to and so Entourage is
making sure you know you're dragging an alias and offering to attach the
original for you. Good for Entourage.

What are the icons in Drag Thing? They're just aliases.

I would imagine the MacBU decided not to include a "Don't ask again"
option simply because folks might select it and then drag aliases again
into Entourage intending to send the originals. Entourage would be
blamed for sending "corrupt files".
